Similac supports the normal development of baby’s immune system.

Similac is the only formula with IMMUNOTIDE Blend, a unique combination of nucleotides at a level similar to that of breast milk. Nucleotides are conditionally essential nutrients that support the developing immune system. In fact, Similac with IMMUNOTIDE blend has been clinically shown to reduce the risk of developing diarrhea in infants up to 6 months of age (compared to infants fed Similac without nucleotides). In addition, antibody responses of babies on Similac with IMMUNOTIDE blend have been shown to be similar to those of breastfed babies following routine immunizations.

Similac’s DigestEase formula is scientifically formulated to be easy to digest and well-tolerated with stool frequency and consistency similar to that of breastfed babies.

Similac contains a unique oil blend without palm olein oil which has been shown to result in greater calcium and fat absorption than formulas that have a predominantly palm olein oil blend. Most other formulas contain palm olein oil which can interfere with the absorption of calcium and may contribute to stool hardness.
