Alimentum has been developed by experts to meet the nutritional needs of allergic babies. A state-of-the-art hypoallergenic formula, it contains a hydrolysed cow’s milk protein and a special mixture of carbohydrates designed for easy digestion. Alimentum is the best-tasting and best-priced ready-to-feed protein hydrolysate formula.
How can I help?
If you suspect your child has multiple food allergies, consult your baby’s doctor for a proper diagnosis.
Cow’s milk protein allergy is the most common food allergy in babies. Sensitive babies may also be allergic to soy protein or even to egg, fish or nut protein.
Remember that allergic babies may benefit from prolonged breastfeeding and that the diet of a baby with allergies should always be carefully discussed with the baby’s doctor.
Be aware that cow’s milk and/or soy protein allergy may be a temporary problem or can last longer in some children. Be also aware that if at least one member of your immediate family (parent or sibling) is known to have a documented allergic disease, your baby is more likely to have allergies.
